MEASURE CAREFULLY:
Gearing up your dog with a warm winter jacket for the cold weather? We can't stress how important it is to measure your dog carefully before you make your selection.
The important mesurements are: LENGTH - from where the collar sits on your dog's neck to the base of the tail; GIRTH - right around your dog's body at the deepest part of the chest, usually right behind the front legs; and NECK.
Compare these measurements to the sizing charts of each style of coat. If your dog measures 20" long then he will probably wear an RC coat in Size 20 or a Medium in the technical coats (RUFFWEAR & CANINE EQUIPMENT) but he may go up a size. Or down... That's why you have to consider all three measurements.
